The four-month residency that commenced in December 2021 with this group of seven women artists has already been an exchange of ideas, skills and knowledge sharing. By using this residency as a way of exploring and experimenting with various craft techniques, the artists have been inspired by each other as well as the industrial and natural spaces around Space Studio and the city of Baroda too. Over the coming months of the residency, the residents will continue to work in their individual studios while also conducting workshops, touring sites and heritage in the city and actively engaging with the vibrant artists' community in Baroda. Stay tuned as we introduce you to all our artists individually over the coming months. The residency continues until 31 March 2022.
